The I/O (input/output) computing term is defined as the communication between an information processing system (such as a computer), and the outside world (such as a person). I/O is a reflection of the communication occurring between electronic music and individuals.

The Shambhala Experience reveals the reasons countless passionate patrons return to the Salmo River Ranch every summer to participate in what they like to call, "a life changing experience". For many it's not just another music's an amalgamation of creativity and independence where its colourful attendees can truly be free of judgement and societal influence. This film will showcase some of the fascinating qualities of electronic music festival culture which will be explored more in depth in the upcoming feature film, "Input/Output". A film about why people love Shambhala, the documentary is comprised of footage filmed from 2012 and 2013. It speaks the message that this world renowned music festival spreads: that its community is the most outstanding foundation for why festival goers put Shambhala in a class all its own.
